Commerce Ministry: Over 72,000 electronic services provided to business sector

RIYADH — The Ministry of Commerce is continuing to provide its electronic services to the business sector in all regions of the Kingdom amid the exceptional circumstances the world is witnessing due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on Tuesday.

During the period March 23– May 2 this year the ministry received as many as 62,434 enquiries and requests through its business sector call center. It also carried out 72,992 e-services through the unified link for e-services e.mci.gov.sa.

The most prominent services provided to the business sector during this period include partners’ decisions, converting an establishment into a company, amending the commercial activity, amending and renewing the commercial register, reserving a commercial name, and several other e-services.

The Ministry of Commerce has confirmed the continuity of its services to the business sector, completion of transactions, and following up the needs of the business sector directly through the business sector call center via the unified toll-free number 920000667. — SG
