Equestrian Club renamed as Horse Racing Club after King Salman’s approval

RIYADH — Riyadh-based Equestrian Club has been renamed as Horse Racing Club following Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman’s approval.

Speaking on the occasion, Prince Bandar Bin Khaled Al-Faisal, chairman of the board of directors of the club, who is also an adviser at the Royal Court, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the honorary president of the club, for his approval. He also praised Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, for his keen interest in the sport.


"The change of name will have a significant impact on the development of horse racing sport in the country and will help it reach the best international levels," Prince Bandar said. — SPA
