YANBU — TORM Maren ship arrived at King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu at berth No. 55 of Samerf station. TORM Maren is the largest petrochemical ship the port’s station has received since its establishment. The ship arrived with a load of 109,000 tons of gasoline.

This berthing of large ships comes within the strategic plan that aims to develop the Kingdom's ports such that it can accommodate the largest and most modern types of international ships.

The King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu enjoys efficiency, high operational and logistical capacity, and modern and advanced equipment that has led to attracting a greater number of international shipping lines to use the services of the port.

The modernization comes within the framework of the Saudi Ports Authority's (MAWANI) keenness to enhance the status of the Kingdom's ports at the regional and international levels and to improve their performance along with operational and logistical services in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu is distinguished by its strategic location on the Red Sea coast and its geographical proximity to national factories within Yanbu Industrial City that serve the industrial complexes in the region.

It will serve Madinah and its governorates in the future and meet all the needs of the region. — SPA
