KSrelief distributes Ramadan food baskets in Jordan, Yemen

RIYADH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued the distribution of Ramadan food baskets on Thursday to the needy among Jordanian, Syrian and Palestinian families in Jordan in cooperation with the Hashemite Jordanian Charitable Organization.

A total of 13,925 Ramadan food baskets were distributed, benefiting 69,625 individuals in the governorates of Amman (2,706), Irbid (1,405), Al-Karak (3,261), Aqaba (1,415), Mafraq (1,051) Balqa (753), Zarqa (2,143) and Tafilah (1,200).

This aid is part of the assistance provided by the Kingdom through the KSrelief to Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan, as well as the vulnerable Jordanian families during the holy month of Ramadan.

KSrelief also distributed on Thursday 2,305 food baskets weighing 170 tons to the displaced and needy families in Marib, Yemen, benefiting 1,055 families.

It also distributed 5,400 cartons of dates to the displaced and needy people Al Dhale'e and Aden Governorates. 1,200 cartons of dates have been distributed in Dar Sad District of Aden Governorate and 3,000 in cartons of dates have been distributed in districts of
Al Dhale'e Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 5,400 families.
