First PIA flights from Dammam repatriates 260 Pakistanis

JEDDAH —
Two Pakistan International Airlines flights, carrying 130 passengers each left Dammam for Islamabad on Thursday.

These were the first flights from Dammam, which carried stranded Pakistanis during the coronavirus crisis.

The government of Pakistan has started a series of special flights to repatriate Pakistanis stranded in various countries, including Saudi Arabia.

In Saudi Arabia the flight operations for these special flights are being coordinated by the Ambassador of Pakistan Raja Ali Ejaz and his team at Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh and the Consul General Khalid Majid and his team at Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah.
