Saudi railways, SAPTCO to resume operations from May 31

RIYADH — Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) is preparing to resume passenger train trips between Dammam and Riyadh, through Abqaiq and Hofuf stations from May 31 (Sunday) as it began activating services of ticket booking and sales to its customers through its website (www.sro.org.sa) and its electronic application (SRO).

The SRO said that the daily operation of passenger trains will be in line with the timings for movement set by the Ministry of Interior — from 06:00 a.m. until 08:00 p.m. — starting from May 31 to June 21, 2020.

The railway organization has called on its customers to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures set by the competent authorities when they are at the stations and onboard trains. For any inquiries, customers can contact the railways services support center on the toll-free number 920008886.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) has announced the resumption of its transport services between Saudi cities starting from May 31 (Sunday), the company said on its Twitter account.

The transport company has called those who want to travel can book their tickets online through its website or application from Thursday (May 28) onward.
