Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The National Water Company (NWC) announced on Tuesday that it will disconnect water supply service for bill defaulters effective from Sunday, June 7.

The company also notified that request for reconnecting the water tanker service will be directly linked to payment of outstanding water bills from July 1, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The NWC said that there will be no longer the exemptions given earlier due to the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic situation and the regular procedures with regard to payment of water bills will resume. It urged all the consumers to pay their dues at the earliest for the services provided to them during the last period in the light of improvement in the general situation and the beginning of a gradual return to normal life.

The company called on all its customers to update their information online through the company’s branch in order to ensure continuance of services without interruption and to get monthly invoices as soon as they are issued.
