Six COVID-19 deaths in Oman in one day

MUSCAT — With six new virus-related deaths announced in Oman during the last 24 hours, the overall death toll in Oman jumped to 81, health officials said.

Officials also reported 604 new cases, of which 344 are Omani citizens and 260 expatriates.

The increase is slightly less than on Sunday, when authorities identified 866 new cases.

The total number of cases in the sultanate is 17,486 as of Monday. — Agencies
