Riyadh airport installs PPE vending machines

June 10, 2020

Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The authorities at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh have installed vending machines loaded with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits, including masks and sanitizers, at the airport. On its Twitter account, the airport posted pictures of the self-operated machines at lounge 5 of the domestic terminal.

It is noteworthy that the domestic terminal reopened its doors in early June after the General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the resumption of domestic flights in most of the Kingdom's airports effective from May 31. This was in line with strict health precautionary measures and preventive protocols to stem the spread of coronavirus.
