RIYADH — King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Center for Dialogue between Followers of Religions and Cultures (KAICIID), in cooperation with G20 Interfaith Forum and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), launched this month in Europe the first regional consultations to enrich the G20 Interfaith Forum for the year 2020.

The G20 Interfaith Forum is to be held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, later this year with the participation of hundreds of representatives of various religious followers.

The KAICIID Secretary General Faisal Bin Abdulrahman Bin Muammar said that the series of consultations held via the Internet, bringing together religious leaders and experts from different parts of the world, will contribute to enriching the discussions of the forum whose recommendations will be presented later to the G20 leaders' summit.

He indicated that the center would also organize a youth forum to bring them together and connect them with religious leaders and policymakers. Also some 200 fellows from the Cayside International Fellowship Program will also gather at a 5-day alumni conference — both of which will precede the forum. — SPA
