KSRelief provides medical services to Syrian refugees in Jordan’s Zaatari camp

AMMAN — Clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) provided medical services to Syrian refugees in Jordan's Zaatari camp.

During the past week, the clinics attended to 6,437 patients with various medical conditions. They were examined and given the necessary medications.

The general medicine clinics received 2,460 patients, pediatric clinics attended to 691 patients, the emergency department examined 221 patients, and two dental clinics provided services to 132 patients.

A total of 445 patients were also received at the women's clinic. They were examined and given the necessary medicines. The number of internal medicine referrals reached 159 while 98 cases were dealt with in ENT clinics, and the vaccine clinic reviewed 172 cases.


Meanwhile, 1,727 cases were attended to as part of the ongoing disease control project, the nutrition and health care clinics dealt with 95 cases, 81 radiographs were performed for 49 patients, 481 laboratory analyzes were performed for 188 patients, while the total prescriptions referred to the pharmacy reached 2,065.

The medical assistance is part of the efforts of
Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian refugees during the humanitarian crisis they are experiencing.
