MADINAH — Ninety-five Saudi volunteer youths are supporting Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah to implement sorting-out works and initial checks of visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque, in order to spread awareness of the importance of adhering to precautionary measures to prevent COVID-19 pandemic.

Ambulatory volunteer teams have contributed to the awareness and guidance work in coordination with the General Presidency of the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs through visual screening points in all sections of the Prophet’s Mosque for “men and women”.

This screening is to help apply early examination to worshipers to prevent the transmission of infections. It also helps in transferring suspected cases to health facilities for necessary procedures, according to the practice in dealing with cases of the emerging Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. — SPA
