HADAF, SAFCSP begin training Saudis in 13 technical fields

RIYADH –
The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), in cooperation with the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), has started a training program aimed at employing national cadres of in 13 new technical specializations required by the labor market in the field of cybersecurity, programming, big aata and artificial intelligence (AI).

The training comes within the framework of a support agreement recently concluded between the two sides (Hadaf and SAFCSP) to train, qualify and develop the skills of the national manpower, to occupy jobs in the private sector and ensure their job stability after completing the training period, the ) Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Monday.

The objectives of the agreement are to engage national manpower and enable them to work in advanced technological specialties, in an effort to reduce the gap between the needs/requirements of the labor market and the supply of well-trained and qualified national cadres.

The field of cyber security included the following training programs: Cyber security foundation course, defensive protection, offensive protection, technical infrastructure and reverse engineering.

The programming field includes: Programming front-end web interfaces (full stack development) and integrated programming (NET), integrated programming and design of user experience and user interfaces, programming applications for Android and iOS.

In the domain of big data and artificial intelligence, the training programs includes data science and artificial intelligence.

The agreement concluded between the two parties stipulated the necessity of commitment to implement the training program and conduct field visits to ensure the quality of training and achieve its goals. Moreover, there is a commitment to prepare monthly reports on the progress of the training program in both theoretical and practical aspects during the estimated training period of four months.
