RIYADH –
The Ministry of Education has set this month July as the timeline to take delivery of 21 school projects for boys and girls— with a capacity of over 13,260 students, at a cost exceeding SR 209.7 million.

These projects are located in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, Eastern Province, Madinah, Asir, Tabuk, Jazan , and Najran, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Thursday.

The ministry stressed that these projects come within its top priorities in terms of focusing attention on school projects, speeding up the completion and delivery of school buildings in record time, and working in line with a clear time plan for handing over and taking delivery of the projects.

This ensures the achievement of the performance indicators laid down by the Agency for Projects and Maintenance, and contributes to achieving the goals set for them.

The Ministry of Education said that the new school and education buildings conform to quality standards and create an attractive and stimulating education environment conducive to creativity.

It also achieves the ministry's plan to do away with low-quality rented buildings, removing bottlenecks and having separate buildings for different stages of general education, as well as tackling the issue of stalled projects.
