Kuwait records more corona recoveries than infections

KUWAIT CITY — The Kuwait health ministry on Wednesday reported 703 new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, along with 736 recoveries.

Of the newly detected cases, 434 are Kuwaiti nationals and 269 are foreigners.

Three new deaths were also reported.

With this, 56,877 new cases have been reported in the country, along with 46,897 recoveries. The total death tally stands at 399.

As many as 4,041 new COVID-19 tests have been carried out in the country, the ministry added, taking the total to 445,184.

Currently, 9,581 patients are receiving treatment, including 146 in ICU, the ministry added.
