"Firefighting operations are underway," the IRNA reported quoting an official. “The municipal and port firefighters are being assisted by firefighters from the nearby Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant,” the official added.

There have been a number of explosions and fire incidents around Iranian military, nuclear and industrial facilities since late June.

According to another report carried by IRNA, a number of Iranian lawmakers are set to visit Natanz Nuclear Complex in the coming days.

The report also said quoting an official that the cause of the incident at the Natanz Nuclear Complex has been identified following the technical and security investigations and will be declared in due course for security reasons.
