MoH: Rise in clinical capacity during pandemic due to leadership’s backing

RIYADH — The Ministry of Health confirmed that the preventive measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to deal with COVID-19 and the government’s full support in boosting clinical capacity enabled the Kingdom to have an impact in its fight against coronavirius.

The unlimited support from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, have contributed to increasing the clinical capacity of intensive care by more than 2,800 beds in various regions of the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Health pointed out that this reflects the keenness of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the safety of citizens and residents and confirms the priority in the care taken of their health.

The Ministry also noted that raising the clinical capacity of intensive care has contributed positively to providing medical care to patients.

Since the beginning of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health has taken many preventive measures and implemented a number of specific initiatives that have had a tangible impact on successfully dealing with the pandemic, and mitigating its effects on individuals and the society. — SPA
