JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced early Wednesday that there is no specific date yet set for the resumption of international flights in the Kingdom.

Making an announcement on its official Twitter account, the General Civil Aviation Authority tweeted, saying: “GACA confirms that there is no specific date yet for the date of the resumption of international flights and that the decision will be taken based on the evaluation of the competent authorities."

“The Authority calls upon everyone to take information update from official sources,” the tweet added.

The international flights were suspended in the Kingdom in the month of March due to the global outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

However, domestic flights resumed in June after the Kingdom eased coronavirus restrictions.
