UAE public sector employees get 4-day Eid holiday

DUBAI — The United Arab Emirates has announced a four-day Eid Al-Adha holiday for public sector employees in the country.

A circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources on Wednesday said that the Eid Al-Adha holiday for ministries and federal bodies will begin on July 30 (Day of Arafat), and will end on Aug. 2, adding that work for all ministries and departments will resume Aug. 3.

The authority also greeted UAE’s President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Council members, rulers of the emirates and the people of the country as well as of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion. — WAM
