King Salman undergoes successful gallbladder surgery

RIYADH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Thursday underwent successful laparoscopic surgery to remove his gallbladder at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, the Royal Court said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.

King Salman will spend some time in the hospital as part of the treatment plan recommended by the medical team, according to the statement.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his appreciation to everyone who called or sent him well wishes.
