KSrelief signs agreement to operate prosthetics centers in 2 Yemen governorates

RIYADH —The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a joint cooperation agreement on Tuesday with the International War and Disaster Victims Protection Association to equip and operate prosthetics centers in Marib (fifth phase) and Taiz (second phase) governorates of Yemen. The centers will benefit 5,829 individuals.

The agreement was signed by KSrelief’s Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz at KSrelief’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The director of KSrelief’s Health and Environmental Aid Department, Dr. Abdullah Al Moallem, said in a statement that the project will provide physical rehabilitation for patients, diagnosis and treatment services for each patient separately, and prosthetics. He added that the program will also train Yemeni cadres to raise their professional and scientific capabilities to deal with different patients.
