King Salman leaves hospital after successful gallbladder operation

RIYADH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman was discharged on Thursday from hospital after receiving treatment, the Saudi Press Agency reported citing an official statement.

King Salman underwent successful laparoscopic surgery to have his gallbladder removed last week at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh where he was admitted on July 20 due to an inflammation in the gall bladder.

Following his surgery, he was recovering in the hospital in Riyadh.

Last Tuesday, King Salman chaired a virtual Cabinet meeting from the hospital and thanked all those who called him to inquire after his health and wished him well.
