RIYADH — Well-known for promoting seasonal & regional food varieties all year-long, leading retailer LuLu unveiled the Indian-themed food festival across its stores in KSA, coinciding with the Indian Independence Day.
The weeklong promotion will highlight a wide range of India’s rich food products with great selection on organic grocery essentials, fresh food, ethnic delicacies, and scrumptious desserts till Aug. 18, 2020.
Shehim Mohammed, director of LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia, said: “We are trying to showcase the versatility and diversity of Indian food products handpicked by our well spread supply chain in India and across the world, which are mostly flown in to keep its freshness as we move closer to farm-to-fork concept in KSA, featuring both locally and internationally sourced range.
“With India being geographically closer to KSA, more fresh products are brought in regularly and about 2,000 varieties will be on display during the festival.”
Apart from India Fest, LuLu kicked off its back to school offers on a wide range of products, such as healthy snacks, e-learning gadgets, stationery, uniforms, shoes, bags, and much more, for the upcoming new term. — SG
