King Salman issues two royal orders

RIYADH – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued two royal orders, relieving two high-ranking officials of their posts and appointing their replacements, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the Royal Court as announcing Sunday.

According to the Royal Court, Dr. Ghassan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Shibl was relieved of his post as chairman of the Board of Directors of Local Content and Government Procurements and Bandar Bin Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al-Khirayef was appointed as chairman of the Board of Directors of Local Content and Government Procurements in the excellent rank.

Dr. Hatem Bin Hassan Bin Hamza Al-Marzoogi, the deputy minister of education for universities, research and innovation, has been relieved of his post and Dr. Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bin Turki Al-Sidairi is appointed as deputy minister of education for universities, research and innovation in the excellent rank, said the report.

The Royal Order instructed the competent authorities to act immediately and accordingly. — SPA
