JEDDAH — In a relief measure for Sri Lankan citizens who are currently in the Kingdom and wish to return home, Sri Lankan Airlines has announced a special repatriation flight.

The flight, which will be operated from Dammam to Sri Lanka on Thursday (Aug. 27), is being arranged in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah, Sri Lanka’s national carrier said in a statement.

The airline has urged those who are interested to make the most of the opportunity to contact its offices, adding that limited seats are available and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

It is mandatory for passengers to submit their COVID-19 test reports prior to their departure from Saudi Arabia, the airline has pointed out.
