RIYADH — The Yemeni government called on the international community to act, stating it must do far more to shoulder the responsibility and break tits current silence over the crimes and violations being committed by the Houthi coup militias.

A government meeting chaired here on Thursday by the Yemeni Vice President, Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed the ongoing escalation of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, and its disruption of the essence and contents of Stockholm Agreement.

The Yemeni news agency quoted Lt. Gen. Saleh as expressing appreciation to the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen for its continuous support to restore the Yemeni state and defeat the Iranian sabotage project.

In Jeddah, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen highly commended the combat effectiveness of the Ccoalition forces for their ability to fend off terrorist attacks, as they did on Thursday to intercept and destroy a ballistic missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the city of Najran.

The OIC Secretary General strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's continued launching of ballistic missiles in a systematic and deliberate manner to target civilian objects and civilians.

Dr. Al-Othaimeen also reaffirmed the OIC’s stand and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to protect its territories, citizens and residents. — SPA
