JEDDAH —
Saudi Customs have announced that trucks coming to the Kingdom and transiting through its lands would be allowed to transit from all countries, in order to ease the precautionary measures at the land ports.

The decision is in implementation of the royal order approving what the Council of Political and Security Affairs saw appropriate, on easing these precautionary measures.

The decision includes implementing the precautionary health measures that other countries apply to truck drivers coming from the Kingdom, according to the principle of reciprocity.

The decision stipulates only assessing the existence of symptoms with the truck drivers that cause suspicions of having contracted the novel coronavirus infection.
