RIYADH — The Arab Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen on Friday successfully intercepted and destroyed two bomb-laden drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi militia, targeting Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

According to the coalition spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki, the first drone fired toward the Kingdom’s southern region was intercepted and destroyed in the morning, while the second drone targeting Najran was intercepted in the evening.

He said both drones were launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian facilities in the Kingdom.
