TABUK — One of the Saudi families in Tabuk Region has been able to transform its creative passion into a pioneering and unique tourism project in the region, by setting up a model and modern station to serve travelers and tourists coming to the city of Tabuk and motorists traveling on its international routes, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Saturday.

In an interview he gave to SPA, the head of the family Eng. Odeh Al-Enizi said: “This project — which we are racing against time to launch it, God willing, on Sept. 9, 2020 — is like a dream come true, as we have decided to start carrying out our project with all enthusiasm and determination.

“Through it we sought to be a tourist landmark among all the landmarks that characterize Tabuk Region, and not just a station to serve travelers with a traditional mold on highways.

He added: "We were keen that the project should be characterized by a structural engineering design with the style of open terminals, trolleys and shipping containers, with more than 25 restaurants, cafes, children's play areas, and a supermarket. It involved the development of the food truck concept, with high quality service around the clock.”

Al-Enizi pointed out that to achieve this they had transformed their home into a workshop in which adults and children participated, in order to come up with the best scientific ideas, to apply them on the ground.

He added, “Which is what happened — and praise be to Allah Almighty — as the project is located on an area estimated at 10,000 sq. meters, on King Faisal International Road, and bears the name (Station 67) with the participation of international and local brands, and productive families who work alone in their brands.”

This is in addition to the events and activities that will be characteristic of the place throughout the year.

The site serves the people of Tabuk and those traveling on its international routes to and from Madinah, and the link between it and Tabuk land ports with Jordan and Egypt via the port of Dhiba, as well as travelers to Neom.
