Saudi Arabia reports 898 corona cases, 32 deaths

RIYADH —
Saudi Arabia on Tuesday reported 898 new COVID-19 cases, along with 718 recoveries. There were 951 COVID-19 cases in the country on Monday. Thirty-two deaths were also recorded during the past 24 hours, the health ministry said.

This takes the total reported cases in the country to 316,670, and recoveries to 291,514. The death tally has now climbed to 3,929, health ministry spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali was quoted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as saying.

Currently, there are 1,519 critical cases in the Kingdom.

Makkah continues to be the city where highest number of cases were recorded with 81 new infections. The city reported 76 infections on Monday.

On Tuesday, there were 72 cases in Jeddah, 50 in Madinah, 46 each in Hufof and Riyadh, 42 in Taif, 33 in Mobarraz, 30 in Hail, 25 in Hafr Al-Batin, 23 in Najran and 21 in Dammam.

The rest of the cases were scattered in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom, Dr. Al-Abdel Ali said.
