Crown prince, Japanese defense minister seek to forge close ties

NEOM — Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, received a phone call from Japan’s Defense Minister Taro Kono, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

During the phone conversation, they discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of defense between the two countries. They also discussed regional security issues and efforts exerted to ensure the security and safety of maritime traffic.
