JEDDAH — Al-Murjan Group entered into a SR400 million contract with Khaled Ahmed Al-Juffali Holding Company, to implement finishes and electromechanical works for Mediclinic Al-Murjan Hospital in Jeddah.

The first contract for Khaled Ahmed Al-Juffali Holding Company, includes finishing works, electricity and plumbing that was signed by the CEO of Al-Murjan Investment and Real Estate Development Co. Eng. Taufiq M. Bahamdein, and Muhammad Nizar Sanadiqi, CEO of Khaled Al-Juffali Holding Company.

Shahid H. Shaikh, managing director of Al Murjan Group Holding and executive board member of Al-Murjan Medical Center, a subsidiary of Al-Murjan Group, signed the second agreement with Khalid Al-Juffali Holding Company, for supplying some of the medical equipment and building systems worth SR24 million.

The signing was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Murjan Group and Chairman of the Group's Executive Committee Sultan Bin Khalid Bin Mahfouz; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khaled Al-Juffali Holding Company Khaled Ahmed Al-Juffali.

Eng. Bahamdein expressed his happiness at signing the agreement with Khaled Al-Juffali Holding Company as a strategic partner, stressing that the new hospital will provide healthcare services of the highest quality in the Kingdom.

He added that the hospital will include advanced treatment facilities and a team of the best specialists, who will work according to the best international medical standards, which will contribute to achieving the goals of the “Quality of Life” Program, one of the programs to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Nizar Sanadiqi welcomed the signing of the agreement, stressing that his company will complete the finishes and electromechanical works with high quality in design, engineering, supply, installation and examination of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing works related to Mediclinic Al-Murjan Hospital.

He said that Khaled Al-Juffali Company provides integrated solutions to meet the needs of its customers with unmatched quality and on-time delivery. It works hard to provide high-quality engineering services in all stages of work, and has the capabilities to implement all types of projects within a record time to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

The signing of the agreement comes within the framework of Al-Murjan Group's efforts to adopt Al-Murjan Hospital Mediclinic with a mission to create a unique model for healthcare with a holistic view of healing the human body, mind and spirit by following international medical standards.

Mediclinic's entry into the private healthcare sector, which is witnessing an increasing growth in the Kingdom, is part of its strategic objective in the existing markets and expanding into other domains, as it intends to activate its operational capabilities and explore new horizons in Saudi Arabia so as to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The hospital will be located in a vital location on King Abdulaziz Road in northern Jeddah; where designs have been developed according to international standards, while the building consists of eight floors that provide integrated services for outpatients and inpatients in various medical specialties, including general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, women, childbirth and children, in addition to emergency services.

The hospital will be located in a vital location on King Abdulaziz Road in northern Jeddah, where designs have been developed according to international standards, while the building consists of eight floors that provide integrated services for outpatients and inpatients in various medical specialties, including general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics and pediatrics, in addition to emergency services.

The first phase of the hospital is built on an area of 18,000 sq. meters with a total built up area of 80,000 sq. meters. While the second phase, a mirrored building of the first phase, on the western side of the site, in which the two phases will be the starting point for an integrated medical city on an area of 136,000 sq. meters located between King Abdulaziz Road and Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Street. — SG
