JEDDAH —
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has ordered an unlicensed warehouse in Jeddah closed and seized 144,000 packages of cosmetic products, it said on its Twitter account.

The warehouse stored cosmetic products.

The owner of the facility was summoned and legal procedures against him were completed, the FDA said.

Recently, authorities have been vigorously cracking down on illegal businesses and those dealing with fake itmes. Earlier this month, a business in Makkah was closed for dealing with fake tires and lubricants used in automobiles.
