KHARTOUM — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued on Friday to distribute food baskets to those affected by the torrents and floods in Sudan.

About 600 food baskets, weighing 64 tons and 200 kilograms, were distributed to the affected people in East Nile locality in Khartoum State, benefiting 3,600 people. This comes within the framework of the relief project for those affected by the floods in Sudan.

KSrelief concludes fog

spray campaign in Aden

The KSrelief concluded in Aden on Saturday a fog spray campaign, as part of the emergency response project to combat dengue fever.

The campaign lasted for five days and included spraying mist in a number of areas to limit the spread of mosquitoes that transmit dengue fever.

A spraying campaign will be launched in Mansoura next week, followed by the rest of the directorates in Aden Governorate.

The campaign comes as a result of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness, represented by the KSrelief, to combat dengue fever and to protect Yemeni from people from this epidemic.

In Al-Khawkhah, KSrelief continued implementing water supply and environmental sanitation project, in Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen.

During the period from Oct. 1 to 7, 2020, 413,000 liters of non-drinking water and 330,000 liters of drinking water were pumped into the tanks.

This comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects, being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people.

In Hajjah, Al-Jada Health Center continued providing treatment services to beneficiaries with the support of KSrelief.

During the period from Oct. 1 to 7, 2020, the clinics and departments of Al-Jada Health Center received 3,174 beneficiaries.

The laboratory department also received 620 people and the health center provided 1,279 individuals with medications. — SPA
