Abha to host global meet on Technology in Neuroscience

ABHA — A group of leading international and local experts in the field of neuroscience to talk about scientific developments in neuro technology and enhance scientific knowledge about that science will arrive hear for the Technology in Neuroscience event from Nov. 5-7, 2020.

The event, which will be held under the patronage of Prince Turki Bin Talal, governor of Asir, will highlight the works of Technology in Neuroscience through visual communication in the First International Conference next Thursday.

The experts will focus on the subject by holding various workshops and scientific and technical activities, and stimulating scientific cooperation between specialists.

The conference will be attended by many researchers and specialists in neurosciences including doctors, specialists and consultants, specialists in artificial intelligence and healthcare, industry experts, nutritionists, neurology students and physiotherapy.

The president of the conference, consultant neurosurgeon, Dr. Fahad Al-Quraysha, valued the sponsorship of the governor for the conference, which seeks to introduce neuroscience and the paradigm shift in neurology technology in the Kingdom.

This is in light of the care and attention given by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to all health and treatment services at the level of the Kingdom's regions.

In addition it will stress the efforts needed in seeking to overcome all difficulties facing doctors in treating patients, and working to activate the use of artificial intelligence in treating patients and make use of modern technologies in diagnosis and treatment.

Al-Quraysha indicated that many neuroscientists who have previously experienced recent scientific ideas that have been tried and proven successful will participate in the conference sessions, calling on specialists and university and college students specialized to register via the conference website and participate in it.

The conference will benefit the participants as it will enrich their knowledge with all new developments in neuroscience technology and to overcome the obstacles that physicians face in treating patients. — SPA
