Saudi Olympic leaders take part in IOC meetings

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, who is also the president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and member of the Marketing Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), participated in the commission's virtual meeting, Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

The meeting, which was chaired by the IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach, explored ways to develop the promotional work of the Olympic movement in general and the Olympic Games in particular.

Meanwhile, Princess Reema Bint Bandar, who is a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, took part in the meeting of the IOC Women in Sport Commission, which was also attended by the IOC president.

For his part, Prince Fahd Bin Juluwi Bin Abdulaziz, who is the vice president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and member of the IOC Commission for Public Affairs and Social Development through Sport, highlighted the achievements of the Saudi Olympic in the meeting.
