Al-Fadhli leads team to Iraq for fourth session of Coordination Council

BAGHDAD — A Saudi ministerial delegation headed by Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli will start on Sunday an official visit to the Republic of Iraq.

During the visit, the Saudi delegation will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Mohamed Al-Halbousi.

Meetings will also be held between the two sides to discuss strengthening bilateral relations in various fields. A number of committees of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council will discuss progress on issues and activities related to the Council's work.

It will also discuss the most prominent achievements and agreements signed between them in political and economic fields to contribute to advancing the bilateral relations.

The visit comes within the framework of preparations for the fourth session of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council and for the upcoming meeting between Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense and the Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Kadhimi.

The Saudi delegation includes Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef; Minister of Transport Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser; Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdulkarim Al-Kholifey; Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade Abdulrahman Bin Ahmed Al-Harbi; President of the General Authority of Transport Dr. Rumaih Bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih; and representatives of a number of Saudi ministries and companies in various sectors. — SPA
