LuLu Fishtival: A feast for fish & seafood from around the world

RIYADH — LuLu, the top retailer in the Middle East, unveiled its annual fish and seafood festival, named “Fishtival”, an exciting showcase of offers on fresh fish and exotic seafood delights from different parts of the globe. The festival was inaugurated by Dr. Ali Al Shikhie, CEO of National for Fisheries Development and Mosleh Al Zobaidi , vice president of national program for fisheries development in the presence of Shehim Mohammed, director of LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia, together with government authorities and LuLu officials in a virtual event. The fish offers are available till Nov. 21 across LuLu stores in the Kingdom.

Mohammed said: “We have always taken pride for offering fresh and high-quality seafood. Fishtival is a proof of LuLu’s commitment to bringing the widest range of fish and shellfish to our multi-ethic customer base. We proudly support our local produce, as we are one of the biggest promoters of SAMAQ-certified products, which highlight fresh and cooked seafood that are promoted by the national aquaculture product certification and labeling program of the Saudi Aquaculture Society under the guidance of MEWA.”

LuLu showcases more than 100 product varieties of fish and seafood in fresh, frozen and dried categories, from Norwegian salmon to hamour, Nile perch, lobster, clams, prawns, seabream, tilapia, red snapper, sea bass, parrot fish, and so much more.

Apart from the seafood offerings in the wet section, LuLu highlights delicious seafood-based dishes in hot food and bakery stations, such as fish sarciado, machli amritsari, grilled prawns, fish tikka, charcoal grilled fish, fish bun, prawns pizza, tuna puff, fish biriyani, sweet & sour fish, and fish masala fry to name a few.
