MANAMA — Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani received here on Monday Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Bahrain Prince Sultan Bin Ahmed, the Bahrain News Agency reported.

During his meeting with Prince Sultan Bin Ahmed, Al-Zayani expressed Bahrain’s pride in its historic relations with Saudi Arabia, which are constantly developing at all levels under the mutual keenness to foster and develop relations at all levels.

The Bahraini foreign minister also commended the strategic role played by Saudi Arabia in various regional and international issues, which was reflected in its hosting of the G20 Summit virtually, praising the summit’s great success and its important outcomes.

For his part, the Saudi ambassador to Bahrain expressed his pleasure to have met with the foreign minister, hailing the deep-rooted historic relations between the two countries.

He also affirmed Saudi Arabia’s keenness to continue joint action and coordination with Bahrain at all levels. — SG
