AL-KHOBAR — The mayoralty of the Eastern Province announced on Sunday details of the project to develop seafront in Al-Khobar Corniche. The mayoralty will implement the project in cooperation with the Municipal Investment Gate titled “Furas” as well as the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.

The mayoralty called for the submission of a letter of intent from investors who are interested to take part in the bidding process. The process will have three phases — submission of a letter of intent, qualification, and submission of tenders, and choosing the winner of the project.

The waterfront project would cover a total area of 60,900 square meters. The project includes the construction and operation of commercial and recreational facilities, including a deluxe hotel, world-class restaurants, parks, and entertainment facilities. The project will be implemented in partnership between the public and private sectors.
