JEDDAH — Bahrain’s Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi has lauded the outstanding success of Saudi Arabia in presiding this year’s G20 Leaders’ Summit and ensuring its fruitful outcomes.

This success confirms the pioneering and leading role played by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman as well as Saudi Arabia’s wise humanitarian approach, and the regional and global political weight it enjoys, the minister said.

In a statement to Okaz, the minister said that the success of the “Kingdom of Humanity” in leading and presiding over the 15th G20 Leaders’ Summit is an international vote of confidence in its prestigious status.

Saudi Arabia’s G20 Summit success is a source of pride for all Arab and Islamic peoples and conveys a message of peace, safety, and reassurance to all poor and under-developed countries, given the humanitarian pledges made during it to consolidate global fiscal and economic stability, as well as ensure the delivery of the coronavirus pandemic vaccines to all peoples fairly and at reasonable costs, he added.

Al-Romaihi pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques had showcased distinguished ability in presiding over the G20 Summit, noting that he provided lessons to the entire world in crisis management, and in taking advantage of the largest economic gathering to reaffirm human solidarity during the discussion of the impacts of the pandemic.

The minister praised the Saudi King’s forward-looking vision and assertion of the need to enhance international cooperation in building a more prosperous future for all people, empowering women and youth, protecting the environment, and adopting economic and social policies that would reinstate re-assurance and hope for all peoples.

Al-Romaihi expressed the pride of Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nations in Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role, and their appreciation of its support for fiscal and economic stability, as well as sustainable development, in addition to its influential leadership of the Arab and Islamic worlds toward peace and prosperity.
