Riyadh governor to attend delayed final of King’s Cup

RIYADH — On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar will attend the final match of the 2019-20 King’s Cup.

The match between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, which was delayed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the Kingdom, will be held at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh on Nov. 28 (Saturday).

The Riyadh governor will hand over the trophy and gold medals to the winning team of the team coming second will get silver medals.

Saudi Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal has expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for patronizing the match, which embodies the leadership's continued support for the sports sector in the Kingdom.

The minister confirmed that all necessary health precautions have been implemented in cooperation with the concerned authorities and in accordance with the approved protocols to ensure the safety of all people, which is a major priority under the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. — SG
