Saudi leaders congratulate Mauritanian president on Independence Day

King, Crown Prince send congratulatory messages to Albanian president

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman have sent messages of congratulations to Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani on the eve of his country’s Independence Day.

In their congratulatory messages, the King and the Crown prince expressed their sincere congratulations, wishing the Mauritanian president permanent health and happiness, the government, and people of Mauritania further progress and prosperity.

Independence Day in Mauritania is a public holiday to commemorate the country’s independence from France on Nov. 28, 1960.

Saudi leaders have also sent congratulatory messages to Albanian President Ilir Meta on the eve of his country’s Independence Day.


In their messages, they expressed his sincere congratulations, wishing permanent good health and happiness and the government and people of Albania further progress and prosperity.

Independence Day is celebrated every Nov. 28 as a holiday in Albania. It refers to the Albanian Declaration of Independence on Nov. 28, 1912. — SPA
