GCC leaders congratulate UAE on 49th National Day

JEDDAH — Bahrain’s king, Kuwait’s emir and Oman’s sultan have sent messages of congratulations to leaders of the United Arab Emirates on the country’s 49th National Day.

In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa wished UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan good health and happiness and the Emirati people further progress and prosperity.

King Hamad praised the depth of the strong relations between the two countries, and the development and growth they are witnessing in various fields.

The Bahraini monarch also sent similar messages to Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber in his message praised the strong relations between the two countries.

The Kuwaiti emir also lauded all the great achievements made by UAE in all various fields.

Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the UAE president.

In a statement carried by the Oman News Agency, Oman’s Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to Sheikh Khalifa, praying to Allah the Almighty to achieve aspirations of further progress, welfare and prosperity for the brotherly UAE people under his wise leadership.
