Nearly 2mn benefit from Tetamman clinics and Takkad centers in Riyadh

RIYADH — Tetamman (Fever) clinics and Takkad (Make sure) centers in Riyadh have served nearly two million people so far.

As many as 273,356 people in the capital city have benefited from 40 Tetamman clinics that are available at healthcare centers and hospitals.

Tetamman clinics are devoted to serving everyone, whether citizens, residents or illegal residents, who show coronavirus symptoms, such as fever, shortness of breath and coughing.

Meanwhile, Takkad centers in Riyadh have catered to 1,639,137 beneficiaries so far.

Takkad centers are devoted for those who do not show COVID-19 symptoms, or who develop mild symptoms after being in close contact with a confirmed case.

The centers provide molecular diagnostic test (swab test) Services, and require a prior appointment via Sehaty Application.

Takkad centers are currently located in some health centers, and in drive-through coronavirus testing centers.

The centers help detect infected cases early and prevent the virus’ outbreaks. — SG
