Bahrain, UAE leaders condole King Salman on Princess Hessa’s death

RIYADH — The Saudi Royal Court on Thursday announced the death of Princess Hessa Bint Faisal Bint Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, the Royal Court said that the funeral prayers will be held in Riyadh on Thursday.

Meanwhile, leaders of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have sent messages of condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on the princess’ death.

In a statement carried by WAM, UAE President expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to King Salman over the death of Princess Hessa.

In his message, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan also asked Allah Almighty to rest the deceased’s soul in Paradise and grant solace and patience to the Al-Saud family.

Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the vice president and prime minister of the UAE, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also sent two similar messages expressing their condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Bahrain’s King bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa condoled the death of Princess Hessa in his cable to King Salman.

In their messages, King Hamad and Crown Prince Salman prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace and to bless the royal family with patience.

The Bahraini crown prince sent a similar cable to Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister, and defense minister.
