Council of Engineers tasked to hold professional exams for expats

RIYADH — Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Majed Al-Hoqai directed the Saudi Council of Engineers to hold professional tests for expatriate engineers.

This was after assigning the task of preparing and improving professional exams for expatriates in engineering professions to the council.

This is in view of taking consideration of the council’s competence to provide and apply the best professional practices to engineers so as to protect the society and evaluate academic qualifications and practical experiences.

The ministry is striving to raise the engineering competencies through various professional tests to improve the quality and efficiency of manpower participation in the engineering sector.

This is part of the ministry’s vision for achieving distinction in providing municipal services and realizing urban sustainability in all regions of the Kingdom in order to improve the quality of life and prosperity in the cities across the Kingdom.
