Saudi-Indonesian business forum explores ways to enhance investment partnerships

RIYADH — The Union of Chambers, formerly known as the Council of Saudi Chambers, organized here the Saudi-Indonesian Business Forum in the presence of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investments Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir.

The forum was also attended by the chairman of the Union of Chambers, Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan and an array of businessmen from the two countries.

Addressing the gathering, the Saudi Minister of Investment Al-Faleh underscored the significance of the Indonesian delegation visit, as it is marking a new chapter in the partnership between two friendly countries, which has been consolidated through the reciprocal visits by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Al-Falih called on the business sectors in the two countries to continue working to translate the partnership into commercial businesses and joint venture investments, on the ground, in the two countries.
