RIYADH — Prince Sultan Bin Salman, who is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission, met on Thursday with the Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the two countries as well as a number of issues of common interest.

Prince Sultan Bin Salman noted the historic relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation.

For his part, the Indian ambassador expressed his pride in the distinguished relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, the Indian embassy in Riyadh issued a statement on its official Twitter handle, saying: “Ambassador of India to KSA @drausaf met with HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the chairman of Saudi Space Commission and discussed matters related to India-Saudi Space cooperation.” — SG
