RIYADH — The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's President Yasser Al-Mis'hal led a Saudi delegation in charge of deliverance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia application to play host for the Asian Cup 2027 to Manama. The delegation left here Saturday for the Bahraini capital in order to officially hand over the bid request.

On departure, the delegation was bid farewell by Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal, chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC), and other senior officials and staff.

The delegation is set to meet with the Asian Football Federation President Sheikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa.

Saudi Arabian bid, which is to be presented, holds the theme: Together, towards the Asian Future.

Three-month ago, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation had launched its officially-sponsored campaign to play host to the Asian Cup 2027 finals. — SPA
